ways2work - Parents and carers
Your rights, responsibilities and entitlements
If you have parental, family or carer responsibilities and have been out of the workforce for some time, or if you are currently working, but would like to check what your rights are, this section will provide you with information or refer you to other places where you can get that information.
Although the focus is on workers with parental, family or carer responsibilities, there is also general information which will help you to understand your rights at work. The first part of this section deals with discrimination, sexual harassment and similar issues, while the second part deals with more general employment issues.
